An experienced piano soloist and valued member of SoulTrippers
John Crawford has always been inspired by rhythm and dance. Trained in Blues piano originally he has gone on to play a range of genres including Latin music and Jazz.

He has released music and his 2012 release "Ulia River of Time" was nominated for best album in the Jazz category at the Independent Music Awards in America. He has performed on many different stages over the years, including; Montreal Jazz Festival, the North Sea Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scotts, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the 606 Club and the Royal Albert Hall.

The list of artists that John Crawford has worked with is extensive and includes Bjork, Andy Williams, The Braxtons, Babyface and Dina Carroll. Jazz artists that John has worked with include John Etheridge, Tony coe, Shirley Smart, Annie Whitehead and Orla Murphy, to name just a few.

John Crawford is also an accomplished author and he enjoys playing piano with the SoulTrippers across Surrey, Kent and London
