Wendy Linsey

Wendy Linsey is an experienced singer and tutor who has sung in many genres all through her life including Classical, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Motown and Soul. She also ran her own band, the Wendy Linsey Band which covered a great many jazz funk numbers. Alongside teaching the piano and vocals she also sings with a unique 3 woman a cappella group; The Decibelles, which perform all over London and the South East.

 

Joining at the very beginning of The SoulTrippers musical journey she has been able to match her harmony singing with lead vocals on one of her favourite genres, Soul and Motown, where she is happiest singing classic Minnie Riperton, Deniece Wiliams or Chaka Khan songs or singing backing vocals for the other amazing singers in the band!
